'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first significant honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he previously was, and would certainly consider lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
